Our Green Man doesn’t look too happy, despite the sun having come out.

Photograph 2 - taken 24th January 2026

A bright streak in a dull January; a lovely burnt orange colour Witch Hazel.

Photograph 3 - taken 24th January. 2026

Galanthus atkinsii: it is only comparatively recently that I've come to appreciate snowdrops. They really lift your spirits on a dull January day when everything else is mushy and brown. I'm still not ready to pay much more than £10 for one though!

Photograph 4 - taken 17th February 2026

Snowdrops and Crocus competing for the limelight with a Hellebore trying to sneak in behind.
